It ain’t rocket science . . .it’s better.

Many passages one journey
My first degree was a BSE in Aerospace Engineering from Princeton University. I worked in consulting, research, and product management on the East Coast and in Silicon Valley. I lived in London with my sons and came back to NYC where I worked with the Department of Education and Newark Public Schools.
Experience with life around the globe and in various roles has added to my practice’s depth and dimension.
With a Master’s in Social Work from Fordham University, I practiced in community clinics before moving into Chappaqua schools while establishing my private practice serving teens through super adults.
A graduate of the Westchester Center for the Study of Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy (WCSPP), I am also a member of WCSPP’s Psychoanalytic Association and the National Association of Social Workers. To provide a breadth of approaches, my post-graduate training includes additional modalities.
A whole-person approach to healing & growth.
Through Balance Seekers, I work with clients across the full arc of life — from adolescence and emerging adulthood through midlife and beyond — drawing on a humanistic, interpersonal psychoanalytic orientation. I meet each person with curiosity, warmth, and a commitment to meaningful, lasting change.
My particular passion is for supporting people amidst transition phases of life. With a background in trauma, I have the skill and capacity to consider the factors which can make these times even more challenging. Blending compassion and insight with your natural strengths, we will navigate the way forward. In addition to individual therapy, I design and facilitate support circles and workshops that create space for reflection, connection, and transformation.
I delight in taking a compassionate, collaborative, systems approach to mental wellness.
A note on how I work
We all exist within larger systems — families, friend groups, intimate relationships, professions, culture, beliefs — and, as such, we are affected by interacting with those institutions, individuals, and elements. Each of these can influence our well-being.
My approach is personalized and integrates proven methods and techniques which facilitate change. While I utilize a variety of modalities and tools, our treatment will evolve through the lens of interpersonal psychoanalysis. This reveals how people develop their sense of self through interactions with others — either promoting or hindering psychological growth.
Whether parents and their students in Chappaqua schools, young professionals, CEOs, senior citizens, couples in crisis, or citizens returning from incarceration, my patients begin to fully engage in leading the life they’ve been longing for.
Who I support
With great compassion, I work with individuals age 13+, parents, professionals, couples, caregivers, and families. I provide culturally affirming care for BIPOC, LGBTQ+ and other identities or lifestyles.
Together we explore what’s not working and what you really want life to be like. Then, we map out who and what can help as you heal and grow.
If you want to shift how things are for you, please get in touch so we can explore beginning a journey to enjoying balance in your well-being, together.
